Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2180 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Tele experience required.

Required Credentials: ASN. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Preferred Credentials: BSN.

Unit Details: Cares for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients. Prepares patients for procedures, pain management, IV venipuncture, blood administration, lab monitoring, and discharge teaching.

Shift & Scheduling: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Rotating holidays. On-call: none.

Floating Requirements: May float to like units. Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
