We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience in general accounting. This role is responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager prepare financial statements, review and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, and assist with year-end review and financial close duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Assists with external review by analyzing general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Record and remit sales tax from customers
• Cross trains multiple functions within the Accounting Department as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

What you bring to our vision:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution required
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role; sales tax experience a plus
• Research skills, Thoroughness, Corporate finance, and Deadline-oriented
• Analytical - attention to detail and precise data handling
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Team player that demonstrates initiative
• Clear and concise communication

Compensation: $75,000-$80,000/year

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Glendale, AZ )
