As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical assistance during emergencies, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and manage patients experiencing acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Perform necessary diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Adhere to medical policies and protocols to ensure patient safety
• Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately
• Provide instruction and guidance to support staff as needed
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
• State medical licensure in Kentucky
• Experience working in emergency settings
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Shift Information: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 12p-12a, 7p-7a, 9p-9a

Annual Volume: 50K

Support Staff: APP and 5 physicians

ERM: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
