TRN Law Associates is offering an experienced California litigator the opportunity to take on meaningful real estate and civil litigation matters in a fully remote contract role paying $200–$250 per hour.
Founded in San Francisco in 2010, TRN Law Associates is a civil law firm with a focus on California real estate. As our Senior Contract Litigation Attorney , you’ll draw on your experience across active matters - from case analysis and strategy through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation - with the independence to exercise your judgment and the support of our legal team when you need it.

In addition to $200–$250 per hour, depending on experience , you can expect:
Fully remote contract work
Flexible hours
A varied caseload with a strong focus on California real estate
The opportunity to take an active role in case strategy and key litigation decisions

What You’ll Do
Analyze cases and develop litigation strategy
Draft and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents
Handle discovery and related disputes
Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations
Prepare matters for hearings, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial
Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff throughout the life of a case

What You Bring
Active California Bar license in good standing
15+ years of civil litigation experience
Substantial trial experience
Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills
Ability to independently assess and manage complex litigation matters
Practical judgment, responsiveness, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
Experience with Bay Area residential landlord-tenant law and unlawful detainer actions
Experience with habitability claims, commercial lease disputes, construction defect matters, and general real estate litigation
Experience with easements, boundary-line disputes, and other neighbor or adjoining-property disputes is highly desirable.
