Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Location: Gages Lake, IL 60030, Setting: School-based Start Date: ASAP Type: Full-time / Contract Position Overview The Occupational Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence. This role involves direct student support and collaboration with teachers, therapists, and school staff. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings Support students with fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Illinois OTA license (or eligibility) School-based experience preferred (not required) Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with children in an educational setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
