Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetrics
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x12-hour shifts (traveler choice).
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our high-volume facility specializing in high-risk obstetric care. The ideal candidate will have significant postpartum experience and be prepared to manage high acuity cases, particularly during times of census surge.
Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum care following delivery.
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients, including those experiencing postpartum hemorrhage.
- Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate.
- Maintain patient care standards with a census of 4 couplets.
- Float between Issaquah Campus (Postpartum) and Edmonds Campus (Labor and Delivery) for recovery.
- Support patients undergoing substance withdrawal treatments as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of high-risk obstetric nursing experience.
- Active compact RN license.
- Current certifications: BLS and NRP.
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
- Charge nurse experience is preferred.
