EEG Technician

Performs, coordinates and monitors neuroscience testing to inpatient and outpatient populations. Maintains standards of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AAEM)

• Interview each patient for medical history pertinent to Electrodiagnostic testing.
• Assess each patient utilize care principles in accordance of growth and development and age specific needs.
• Prepare and adjust equipment prior to diagnostic testing appropriate for each patient.
• Implements diagnostic tests and or procedures according to physician orders.
• Communicates to ordering physician completion of diagnostic testing and technician impression for final report.
