Make a meaningful impact supporting junior high students by providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic educational setting. A full-time, contracts Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to cover a maternity leave with a focus on middle school caseloads. The assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through October 6, 2026. The role is based fully onsite and requires specialized skills to help students achieve their communication goals during a pivotal period of development.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active SLP-CCC licensure for the state of Ohio
• Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting
• Expertise in evaluation, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to support junior high-level students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to middle schoolers
• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine students’ needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs in cooperation with school teams and families
• Maintain clear documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and legal standards
• Serve as a trusted resource to staff, offering guidance on communication disorders
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
