Job Description Hiring: Transactional Associate Attorney

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office / Hybrid

We are seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney to join a growing legal practice specializing in Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Title, and Corporate Transactions .

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial loan and real estate agreements.

Handle commercial real estate acquisitions, financing, leasing, and closings.

Review title commitments, surveys, liens, and resolve title issues.

Assist with corporate formations, contracts, mergers, and acquisitions.

Conduct due diligence and coordinate transactional closings.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Tennessee Bar admission or ability to obtain admission within 6 months.

1–3 years of transactional law experience preferred ; recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome.

Experience in commercial real estate, banking, title, or corporate law preferred.

Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and communication skills.

Familiarity with SoftPro is a plus.
