Position overview We are seeking an eager and talented early-career lawyer to join our team for a full-time, in-person position at our office in Irvine. This role is ideal for a recent graduate through fourth-year lawyer with exceptional research, writing, and analytical abilities, but the firm will consider applications from qualified attorneys with any amount of experience. The associate will be given training and responsibility for a wide range of tasks related to complex business litigation. We pride ourselves on offering hands‑on learning from the first day on the job, and endeavor to develop lawyers capable of handling every aspect of case management and client relationships. Responsibilities Draft legal memoranda, motions, discovery requests, and other court filings. Prepare for and conduct hearings, depositions, and trials. Interact with clients to develop the theory of the case and litigation strategy. Interact with opposing and co‑counsel on litigation tasks. Conduct comprehensive legal research on intricate issues related to complex business litigation. Analyze and summarize case files, depositions, and evidentiary documents. Qualifications J.D. or L.L.M. from an ABA-accredited law school. Member of the California Bar (or awaiting bar exam results). Demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing (participation in moot court, law review, or a similar writing program preferred). Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced legal environment. A strong interest in complex business litigation and trial advocacy.
