Assistant Controller

Our client is a BDC. They seek an Assistant Controller to join their Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple funds with complex structures Direct quarterly and annual GAAP reporting, coordinating closely with administrators and auditors on deliverables such as management fees and waterfall calculations Manage overall fund liquidity, including cash management, projections, capital calls, distributions, and credit facility activity Coordinate tax-related workflows with internal and external tax partners Support investor inquiries and development of marketing materials for upcoming fund launches Handle compliance reporting, including credit facility requirements and regulatory submissions Partner with investment operations and performance teams to ensure smooth operational alignment Administer key expense processes while ensuring adherence to partnership agreements and management reporting needs Implement new processes and systems, including fund administrator onboarding, expense process enhancements, reporting system integrations, and offshore resource coordination Requirements 6+ years of relevant accounting experience Combo or public experience preferred Manager level experience is a plus Excellent teamwork and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
