Registered Nurse (RN)Location: Olathe, KSClass/Area: RN / PCUScheduled Details:12-hour Night ShiftsSchedule: 1900-0730, three shifts per weekExperience Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experienceStrong critical thinking skillsExperience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labsAbility to operate independently without a vascular access teamExperience calling on own consults and conducting own codesOpen-heart experience (Day 2 or Day 3) with pacer wiresPatient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 at maximumLicense and Certification Requirements:Current Kansas RN License or Compact RN LicenseBLS and ACLS certificationNIHSS certificationFloating Requirements:Must be willing to float to ICU and all inpatient units, including Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED with prior experience.Weekend Requirements:Every other weekend required.Holiday Requirement:Travelers must work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Eve or Day, Christmas Eve or Day, or New Year's Eve or Day, based on unit needs.Orientation Requirements:Attend the first two days of orientation at the main campusDay 3: Attend unit-specific orientationDay 4: Participate in Director of Nursing trainingDay 5: Complete virtual Epic trainingAdditional Notes:This is a nicotine-free facility.Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable time.The current electronic medical record system is EPIC.Bi-weekly pay periods with specific shift cancellation policies.A minimum of 2-hour notice for shift cancellations is required.Contact Information:If you have any questions, please reach out to the designated account manager.Client Details Address: Olathe Medical Center Olathe, KS 66061 City: Olathe State: KS Zip Code: 66061
