Job Opportunity – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Cardiology – Minnesota
Start Date: January 11, 2027
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday plus weekend coverage available. Full-time positions and weekend-only positions available.
Highlights:
- Inpatient cardiology focused on general cardiology rounding with opportunities for critical care and advanced heart failure (experience dependent)
- Patient load of 8-12 patients per day on floor/stepdown units; 4-6 patients per day in CCU
- 1:1 APP to physician support with full support staff available on weekdays and weekends
- Epic EMR system with charting expected to be completed by end of day
- 128-bed hospital with adult patient population
- Contract length: Ongoing, initially covering leave through July 2027 with potential for continued coverage
Requirements:
- Active APRN or NCCPA certification
- Board Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Current state licensure or willingness to obtain Minnesota licensure
- Active DEA registration
- Critical Care experience preferred for full-time positions but not required for weekend coverage
- Acute Care Certification is NOT required
