As a Labor Compliance Specialist for PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Bothell, Washington, you will work directly with the Client and other Labor Compliance Specialists, Contractors, and the Dept. of Industrial Relations for the duration.

Here's how a Labor Compliance Specialist for PCL Construction Services, Inc. within Seattle contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of the project's Certified Payroll Records (CPR) in compliance with Washington Prevailing Wage Rates, Federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Union Master Labor Agreements, and Project Labor Agreements as applicable.
Research, interpret, and enforce various sources of regulatory documentation pertaining to labor issues including project labor agreements.
Inform, monitor and review all compliance documentation related to certified payroll reports of subcontractors performing on projects.
Participate in subcontractor onboarding meetings to inform contractors of their labor compliance obligations.
Prepare compliance documents for labor compliance orientation meetings.
Review the assigned wage determinations.
Monitor the use of apprentices and the hourly ratio.
Ensure the awarding agency receives and/or reviews all required compliance reports.
Notify subcontractors of wage violations/infractions and request corrective action be taken immediately.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual special reports to management routinely or as requested.
Close-out all contractors at all tiers.
Perform labor field investigations and audits to ensure the validity of CPR.
Qualifications
Associates degree or three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform basic administrative, clerical and data entry duties related to the department.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgement, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to professionally interact with subcontractors/vendors.
Must be able to work with limited supervision and accept instructions.
Knowledge of construction trades classifications.
Past working experience with the LCP Tracker system including administrator and contractor duties an asset.
Understanding of labor practices and techniques.
Understanding of State and Federal labor standards (Washington and Davis-Bacon Act).
Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
The estimated salary range for this role is $77,000 to $95,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
