Role Snapshot

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Extras: Overtime opportunities
Focus: Build, repair, and optimize dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling

Your Mission

Engineer and fabricate dies, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment from print to install
Set up, program, and operate both CNC and manual mills, lathes, grinders, and presses
Hold exacting tolerances to ±0.0005" using disciplined layouts and inspections
Select materials; clean, deburr, and finish parts for production readiness
Diagnose tooling and equipment issues; implement corrective actions and process improvements
Apply precision metrology for in-process and final verification
Champion safety, quality, teamwork, and reliable attendance
Flex for overtime to meet build schedules

Tools & Technologies

CNC and manual machining centers (mills/lathes), surface grinders, presses
Blueprints, GD&T fundamentals, layout techniques
Indicators, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision instruments

Qualifications

Completion of a technical school machine tool apprenticeship or equivalent
10,000+ hours of hands-on machining experience
Comprehensive understanding of machining, tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, and metal forming
Strong mechanical aptitude, solid math, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail orientation and a commitment to building high-precision components
