About the role: Westinghouse is recruiting Junior Health Physics Technicians to work at different Nuclear Power Plants within the United States. Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight for power-plant activates. In addition to providing job coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned determined by individual certifications, qualifications, and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight as required for power-plant activates.
• In addition to providing job coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned determined by individual certifications, qualifications, and skills.
• Types of tasks Jr RP Technicians may be assigned to perform or help perform include the following:
• radiation and contamination surveys
• material and equipment surveys
• material escort
• help with ALARA planning
• help with decontamination activities
• support of Site Emergency Plan

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Workers must train following applicable local, state, and federal OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge
• Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access
