Experienced Cutting Tools machinist of CNC 5 Axis Mills w/ Okuma OSP Controls

Medical / Dental / Eye are available day one.

401K eligible after 90 day Introductory period

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications and machining parameters in the cutting tool industry
• Proficient in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing(GD&T), and shop mathematics in the cutting tool indusrty
• Perform multiple set ups daily on CNC 5 Axis and mill machines
• Can work independently and along side team to train or guide
• Ability to know how to program
• Inspect your own work utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
• Ensures the daily production plan is executed and met
• Troubleshooting to resolve complex technical, tooling, and fixture issues to improve efficiency
• Track all work in process within department, ensure all materials are identified and traceable
• Help employees regarding CNC machine setup, operation, malfunctions, etc.
• Identify and communicate production issues in a timely manner
• Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to jobs
• Opportunity for growth in a leadership role within 2-3 years of demonstrating the understanding of the cutting tool industry

• Education and/or Experience: Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
