Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor & Delivery Nurse

Shift options: 36 or 48 hours - Nights

Patient ratio: 2:1 - Beds/rooms: 15

Preferred: 3 years L&D experience

Minimum: 2 years L&D experience

Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (pending certifications acceptable)

Provide care to patients in labor and delivery, including antepartum care.

Monitor fetal heart rates and uterine contractions using external fetal monitoring.

Triage obstetrical patients and assist with vaginal deliveries.

Circulate and recover patients post-C-section.

Perform sterile vaginal exams and maintain central lines (CVC/PICC).

Administer various therapies such as anticoagulation and antihypertensives, while ensuring proper isolation precautions.

Pending state/Compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start.

Fingerprints/background check required.

Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.

All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal; max 4 days off auto-approved.

Orientation modules to be completed onsite.
