Accounts Payable Clerk

Pay: $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience Contract duration: 6 to 12 months Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day AP operations. This role will be responsible for accurate invoice processing, proper coding, and ensuring all supporting documentation is complete, while assisting with month-end close activities. This is a 6 to 12 month contract work while the company is going through a systems implementation. Key Responsibilities Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner Review and code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers Ensure all invoices have proper approvals and supporting documentation Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, as applicable Maintain organized and complete AP files and records Assist with vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies Support check runs and payment processing Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reporting Qualifications 2–5 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with invoice processing, coding, and document management Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Praxt Talent
