Director of Product Marketing

Voltus is the leading DER technology platform and virtual power plant operator connecting distributed energy resources to electricity markets, delivering less expensive, more reliable, and more sustainable electricity. Our commercial and industrial customers and DER partners generate cash by allowing Voltus to maximize the value of their flexible load, distributed generation, energy storage, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle resources in these markets. Position Description Voltus is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own product-market fit for our platform. You'll sit close to the product organization, help shape our roadmap, and bring customer and market insight directly into product decisions. You'll own positioning and lead features from idea through launch, focusing on major product launches rather than day-to-day campaign execution.

You'll start as an individual contributor with the opportunity to build and lead a small product marketing team as the function grows. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the energy space, ideally B2B, and has marketed to a broad, non-technical buyer base similar to our commercial and industrial customers. You're comfortable getting into the details with product and engineering, and just as skilled at translating that complexity into language a broad, non-expert audience can understand. You use AI tools to extend your own output and move faster.
