Where do you see yourself at Dupuy? Job Description We’re Hiring – Forklift Maintenance Technician| New Orleans Bring your mechanical expertise to a team that keeps operations moving! The Dupuy Group is looking for an experienced Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our New Orleans team. If you have a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment repair, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do In this hands‑on role, you’ll help keep our equipment safe, reliable, and operational by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility trucks, forklifts, chassis, and other mobile equipment. Key responsibilities include: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems Perform preventative maintenance and complete assigned work orders Install and maintain mechanical components on vehicles and chassis Utilize shop and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues Minimize equipment downtime through timely and effective repairs Use manufacturer manuals, company manuals, and technical prints to perform repairs Work independently while communicating effectively with Operations and Maintenance teams What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience Experience working with construction, industrial, or heavy machinery Confidence repairing suspensions, rear ends, transmissions, air brake systems, injectors, turbos, and related components Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem‑solving skills Ability to read, write, and understand English and follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer‑paid Life, Short‑Term Disability, and Long‑Term Disability insurance Supplemental insurance options 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays If you’re an experienced technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently, come build your career with The Dupuy Group! #J-18808-Ljbffr
