A company in the Inland Empire is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager would be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and overseeing AP and AR. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of management experience 8+ years of accounting experience Advanced Excel Experience in manufacturing or distribution aligned environment a plus What will you do for this Accounting Manager role? Oversee operational accounting functions including AP and AR. Manage the monthly and year-end close process. Supervise and support accounting staff. Lead the effort to catch up and standardize account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts. Reconcile approximate accounts for year-end reporting and establish processes for ongoing monthly reconciliations. Manage bank reconciliations. Drive the cleanup and organization of financial records to strengthen accounting controls and reporting accuracy. Support ongoing initiatives to streamline data and accelerate billing processes. Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s external CPA firm conducting the organization’s first financial review. Support preparation of financial documentation and schedules required for the CPA review. Assist leadership with financial documentation required for facility acquisition and financing activities.
