Occupational Therapist

Providing patient-centered occupational therapy services within an acute care hospital setting, ensuring optimal recovery and independence for patients. The occupational therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans aligned with patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients functional abilities and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve motor, sensory, and cognitive functions.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid OT certification/license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or hospital settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to work independently and handle a diverse patient caseload.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends.
