Allfast Fastening Systems is a leading global manufacturer of solid and blind rivets, blind bolts, temporary fasteners, and installation tools for the aerospace industry. To learn more about PennAero's capabilities and commitment to aerospace excellence, visit Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:- Strategic sourcing and supplier contracting; drive assessment of current supply base - Serve as the primary relationship manager with suppliers - Facilitate periodic business reviews with key suppliers - Ensure tactical purchasing function is effective and supports manufacturing production schedules - Champion effective use of MRP system in the planning and purchasing processes - Champion S&OP process along with Operations leaders - Ensure planning and purchasing efforts properly balance objectives of customer OTD, efficient inventory management and working capital, and level load objectives of factory operations - Develop make-vs buy analysis to drive insource & outsource business decisions - Participate in business strategy development and assure alignment with department direction - Lead, coach, develop, and support group of planners and buyers - Hire & train new employees as necessary - Work with GM to develop department KPIs which support and are aligned with business unit objectives - Establish goals and metricsThis role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location.QualificationsEducation and /or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in supply chain, business, engineering or equivalent experience. MBA would be a bonus but not required. Experience level: minimum of 5 to 10 years of planning, purchasing, or supply chain experience required, a portion of which should include management/leadership role experience.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color visionComputer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of ERP/MRP software, and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.CompensationIn compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
