Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Little Company of Mary Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our General Surgery team. This position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, working closely with experienced surgeons to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for general surgery patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up visits
• Assist in the operating room (preferred, but not required depending on experience)
• Manage surgical consults, rounding, and patient care coordination
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39 - $73.68
• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics
