About This Role The ASC RN Specialty-PACU role at Cleveland Clinic involves providing care to pre‑ and post‑op patients in a fast‑paced ambulatory surgery center. Highlights Location: Coral Springs, FL Facility: Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center Schedule: Full‑time, Day shift What You’ll Do Establish and maintain courteous relations with patients and ASC users. Oversee clinical nursing practice in the ASC, assessing patient care needs. Direct other caregivers in providing patient care. Assume charge responsibilities and resolve problems. Report variances from standard practice to the Nurse Manager. Develop educational material and provide health education to patients and families. Process patients through the ASC. Assess personnel skills and resource availability for patient outcomes. Actively participate in attaining ASC goals and mission. Monitor and evaluate cost‑effective practices within the ASC. Requirements Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing (ADN or BSN program) required Experience: 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in a perioperative or critical care setting required, OR 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
