The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including neuro, ortho, and pediatric patients. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for those who have worked with pediatric patients. The facility will consider block scheduling options to accommodate work-life balance. The patient-to-nurse ratio on the unit is 1:6, allowing for attentive care. The role requires collaboration and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Familiarity with electronic health records is preferred. This role does not require on-call duties. Weekend commitments include 3 weekends every 6 weeks.
