This role is fully remote, facilitating a flexible work-life balance while working within normal business hours, specifically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity and impact of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Utilize a collaborative approach to develop customized treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs, goals, and preferences of clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage mood disorders.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans to enhance efficacy.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring integrated and holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mood disorder research and therapeutic techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the protection of client confidentiality.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities, actively contributing to a culture of clinical excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including those struggling with chronic depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related disorders. Your clinical expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges, encouraging resilience and recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• Deep knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities specifically related to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and medical teams, with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology and its implications for treatment.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive clinical outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to connect with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within an outpatient setting.
