Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify the severity and patterns of symptoms related to mood disorders, engaging clients in comprehensive discussions to gather relevant information.

• Collaborate with each client to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences, goals, and preferences, incorporating input from family when appropriate.

• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate improvements in client mental health.

• Provide ongoing educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment paths, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document each client’s progress during therapy, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes and responsiveness to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated mental health support, attending interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases.

• Engage in continuous learning by staying updated on the latest research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders, sharing insights with the team.

• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with legal and ethical standards while documenting client interactions and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitively set at USD 65,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
