Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms accurately.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercise techniques while providing clear instructions to ensure patients perform exercises correctly.
• Utilize various modalities such as massage and manual therapy to promote healing and relieve pain.
• Guide patients in the proper use of mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs to enhance their independence.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet specific goals.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home treatment options and exercise regimens to sustain recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in California.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in computer systems and word processing to maintain patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to meet the needs of a diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits
