Injection Molding Operations Manager

\n \nHayward is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead a high-volume, manufacturing operation supporting multiple production lines and cross-functional teams. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production and technical operations, leading a team of approximately 175 employees, and driving performance in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across the molding operation. Located in Clemmons, NC.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Lead all injection molding operations across a three-shift manufacturing environment. \n
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery performance. \n
- Manage production and technical teams while developing leadership across the organization. \n
- Optimize capacity, equipment utilization, mold changeovers, and production planning. \n
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, scrap reduction, and Lean Manufacturing. \n
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance to support operational excellence and new product launches. \n
- Support capital projects, automation initiatives, and equipment upgrades. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering Technology or related technical field. \n
- Strong injection molding process knowledge, troubleshooting, and process development experience. \n
- Understanding of thermoplastic materials, tooling, and design for manufacturability. \n
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. \n
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, ERP, and MES systems. \n
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \n
