Senior Specialist, Clinical Supplies Shipping

Job Description This position is responsible for processing shipment requests in a timely manner while maintaining the highest levels of compliance and quality. This position will work with Clinical Supply Project Managers, Clinical Coordinators, Quality Assurance, Global Trade and Compliance and other AbbVie functions to accomplish all objectives and responsibilities. Responsibilities Monitor GDSM database, print clinical supply shipment requests, and schedule requests for shipment so as to avoid study delays or interruptions. Execute all day-to-day shipping documentation activities in compliance with departmental SOPs and cGMPs. Develop complete and accurate shipment requests. Exercising extreme detail, manage the entire shipment processing and verification processes. Ensure Regulatory approval for all shipments. Maintain study-specific information for shipment processing. Create Customs/Commercial invoices and seek approvals for international shipments. Create shipping packets for items being shipped outside of the Inventory Management System. Maintain and track various key performance indicators. Qualifications High School Diploma 1+ year shipping experience preferred; strong interpersonal and team competencies, and basic computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel. Additional Information The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
