Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida - Enjoy an on-site, collaborative office environment where you'll work closely with experienced attorneys, receive direct mentorship, and build your litigation practice.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have at least 2+ years of workers' compensation law experience. Trial experience is required.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and case evaluations.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Prepare witnesses and clients for litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and the courts.
• Stay current on developments in Florida workers' compensation law.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of workers' compensation attorney experience.
• Trial experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting litigation documents and managing active caseloads.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
• Prior law firm experience required.
