Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility across shifts and possess strong clinical skills to handle diverse emergency cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize acuity levels upon admission.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and treatment instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current State Board of Nursing registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• BSN degree required.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends, with flexibility.
• Experience with contract/travel assignments preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
