In this role, you will increase sales, build long-term customer relationships, and represent our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. In this position, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key customer relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to offer tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales goals. Through a combination of customer visits and virtual support, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping your customers advance their scientific goals.

Your responsibilities:

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Selling the LPD product portfolio to potential and new customers
  • Selling new products to implement the growth strategy within the region
  • Selling the defined product portfolio through trade partners
  • Timely creation of sales plans and a monthly forecast
  • Evaluating sales prospects by analyzing previous sales figures, customer contacts, cold acquisition, and general research
  • Maintaining systematic customer profiles, customer and competition information, and opportunities in the CRM system
  • Ensuring and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Processing large projects in connection with our project teams
  • Maintaining customer relationships in post-sales and generating long-term customer loyalty
  • Supporting and assisting trade partners in the independent marketing of Thermo Scientific products

Your qualifications:

  • Master's degree and at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the laboratory, science, or healthcare industry
  • Preferred fields of study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related natural science field
  • Technical expertise and the ability to understand customer applications and workflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Results-oriented approach with proven success in achieving sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50-75% within the assigned sales territory
  • Negotiating proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
