Patient Coordinator Job Location: Torrance, CA 90505 Job Duration: 3 + months Contract Possible extension Pay Rate - 30 - 34 /hr. on W2 7:30am - 5pm Candidates must be open to rotating between the training locations listed below for 23 weeks Ortho Los Angeles - HC2 1520 San Pablo Street Suite 2000 Los Angeles, Ca 90033 Verdugo Ortho Glendale 1818 Verdugo Blvd Suite 300 Glendale, CA 91208 Toyota Sports Center - El Segundo 555 N Nash St Suite B El Segundo, CA 90245 Position Summary Provides strong customer service and administrative support for patients to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient satisfaction Coordinates multiple appointments across multi-specialty clinical services Handles daily clinic preparation tasks including message distribution and scheduling Manages heavy phone calls, patient registration, and referrals Performs other duties as assigned Must-Haves Front desk experience and customer service experience 12+ years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or front office experience Healthcare or medical office scheduling experience Strong customer service and patient communication skills Experience working with EMR/EHR systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment Clean-cut, professional appearance Nice-to-Haves Orthopedics or specialty clinic experience Insurance verification or referrals knowledge Bilingual (Spanish preferred) Prior access center or patient navigation experience Required Education High school diploma or equivalent required
