Job Summary

Our client, an established manufacturer and service provider supporting commercial and institutional facilities, is seeking an Customer Service & Sales Representative – B2B to join its growing team. This revenue-focused role combines inside sales, account management, proactive business development, and occasional field engagement to grow product and service revenue within an established customer base. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, reactivate dormant accounts, and take ownership of opportunities from initial conversation through fulfillment. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, orders, service requests, and escalations.
• Proactively contact customers to identify new sales and service opportunities.
• Identify upselling, cross-selling, replacement, retrofit, upgrade, and aftermarket opportunities.
• Reactivate dormant and inactive customer accounts.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales.
• Provide inside sales and customer service support while maintaining a sales-focused approach.
• Manage customer opportunities from initial inquiry and quotation through fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM/ERP system.
• Conduct regular outbound calls and virtual meetings with customers.
• Analyze customer activity, purchasing trends, and account information to identify opportunities for growth.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, conferences, and occasional customer site visits.
• Generate activity and sales reports and maintain visibility into pipeline and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role .
• Demonstrated success in sales, upselling, cross-selling, customer retention, or business development .
• Strong B2B customer service and relationship management experience preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively engaging customers.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience using CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office, and other business systems.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Experience in recreational facilities, sports equipment, building products, A/V systems, manufacturing, or a similar industry is an asset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, and training (less than 40%).
