Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Green Key Resources Overview This role is responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and support for audits and month-end close processes. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities may span both routine accounting tasks and more complex financial analysis, making this role suitable for professionals with experience at both staff and senior levels. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accruals, and prepaid expenses. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial data and variances to support reporting and decision-making. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper expense coding and budget alignment. Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations. Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function. Prepare schedules and reports for tax filings and regulatory compliance as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and accounting software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
