Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts with a variation of 5x8-hour (08:00 - 16:00) and 4x10-hour (08:00 - 18:00) schedules.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience. The ideal candidate will possess a New York RN license and have significant experience in interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology setting.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation during interventional procedures.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as Angioplasty, Chemoembolization, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Liver Ablation, and more.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, ensuring effective infection prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid New York RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
