Open availability required, including weekends and holidays.Work Environment: Modern hotel in the heart of Virginia Beach's Town Center business and entertainment districtSummaryThe Night Auditor is the primary overnight presence at the front desk, responsible for completing the nightly audit, balancing the day's transactions, and delivering accurate reports to management. This role combines guest service with financial accuracy — checking in late arrivals, handling guest needs through the night, and ensuring the property is reconciled and ready for the morning team.Job Functions:Completes the nightly audit: posts room and tax charges, reconciles daily transactions, and runs the end-of-day process.Balances all department revenue, credit card batches, and cash; identifies and resolves or flags discrepancies.Prepares and distributes daily reports (occupancy, revenue, and manager reports) for the leadership team.Handles front desk operations overnight, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest requests.Serves as the overnight point of contact; follows all safety, security, and emergency procedures to protect guests, team members, and property.Processes payments accurately, manages cash and credit transactions, and maintains a balanced shift bank.Prepares the front desk and lobby for the morning team and communicates outstanding items at shift handoff.Reports for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.Performs other related duties as required.We Live by Our "TOP" Values:T – TEAM UP: Collaborate, support others, and stay goldenO – OWN IT: Take pride, stay accountable, and never stop learningP – PASSIONATELY SERVE: Be positive, show you care, and create memorable experiencesWe're looking for team players who embody these values every day.QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED required.Previous front desk or night audit experience preferred.Hilton PEP (Property Experience Platform) experience preferred.Comfortable with numbers, reconciliation, and basic accounting tasks; strong attention to detail.Able to communicate in English, verbal and written.Open availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to stand for extended periods during a shift.Why Work with Us?Competitive PayGo Hilton Travel Discounts for team members & eligible familyShamin Perks – Save on gym memberships, movie tickets, amusement parks, rental cars, and more$200 Referral Bonus after your referral completes 30 daysBe part of a welcoming team in the heart of Town CenterNote: Full-time benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) apply per plan eligibility.
