Shift: Monday-Friday
Schedule: Open availability
Pay : $45.00 - $47.00/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ICU RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients while collaborating closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and committed to patient safety and excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered.
- Manage and monitor invasive and non-invasive equipment, including cardiac monitoring and ventilators as applicable.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to clinical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Perform and document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and ongoing care when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, infection-control procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Promote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)program.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)certification required.
