Team Leader

Job Details: Location: Head Quarters - Chattanooga, TN 37404, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School or Equivalent, Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 hourly, Job Shift: Morning, Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services. Job Summary This is a community employment based full-time, non-exempt position with 75 hours per pay period, typically 8am‑4pm with a half hour unpaid lunch. The Team Leader will assist with early morning and/or afternoon transport and be available to work in a variety of community integrated work settings, working flexible hours to support small group work sites. Responsibilities include: Developing the weekly staff schedule with input from the Assistant Coordinator and providing staff coverage for individuals assigned to ECF/DDA Job Coaches and Small Group Work Site Supervisors. Providing direct hands‑on training to Job Coaches and individuals in various job settings. Assisting with transporting individuals to and from work as needed. Ensuring compliance oversight of employment daily notes or entering supervisory level daily notes as needed. Coordinating Training Specific to the Needs of the Individual (SIT) and reviewing daily note‑transportation‑epipen calendars bi‑weekly. Assisting with monthly unannounced small group work site visits. Representing the Employment Department by attending annual Person‑Centered Support Plan (PCSP), Circle of Support (COS), and Support Intensity Scale (SIS) meetings for all assigned individuals. Obtaining all employment information and updates for individuals assigned to ECF/DDA Job Coaches and Small Group work sites prior to meetings. Submitting updated Risk Assessments to the assigned Case Manager and maintaining up‑to‑date Staffing Plans, Job Placement and Job Termination reports, and Job Coach fading plans. Reviewing and sharing new PCSP or COS information with relevant employment team members. Reviewing and notifying staff of individual Health Care appointments and Mealtime Observation sessions. Serving as the Employment Department’s primary Designated Trainer; reviewing Mealtime cards monthly to ensure active designated trainers are listed. Completing and overseeing individuals’ time sheet entries and ensuring daily note entries coincide with time sheets. Assisting individuals in setting up business direct payroll systems and OGC Paycom direct deposit setups; obtaining payroll information for wage verification reports for governmental agencies and DDA Employment Tracking data reports. Notifying staff of training compliance deadlines and assisting with maintaining personal vehicle inspections and proof of insurance checks. Serving as liaison between Orange Grove Center and various community business sites to provide support to each individual and their family. Taking individuals through the Employment Exploration process to proceed to the Discovery phase of employment. Attending all scheduled staff and committee meetings and keeping training up to date. Performing other duties and assignments as assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in supervision/management. Public relations or business management experience beneficial. Professional or lived experience of at least six (6) months working with individuals who have disabilities, complex needs or who are aging, where the work involved teaching and supporting skill development related to employment or daily living tasks (experience in an employment setting preferred).
