Overview
This travel RN position is for an Emergency Room (ER) nurse in Templeton, CA, starting 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,103 to $2,197 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ER patients, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; verify and document responses
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes or emergencies
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic), ensuring accurate orders, assessments, and communication with the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate timely care and discharge planning

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Current Epic EMR experience
- Ability to work a night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a hospital setting
