POSITION: Personal Lines Account Manager

INDUSTRY: Property & Casualty Insurance - Personal Lines

ROLE OVERVIEW

Delibert Employment Solutions is partnered with a client seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to manage and service personal insurance accounts. The role combines client service, policy administration, retention, sales support, risk assessment, and accurate recordkeeping for personal-lines P&C business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary client contact for personal insurance questions and service needs.

• Handle renewals, policy changes, cancellations, documentation, and claims assistance.

• Identify new-business and cross-selling opportunities while supporting renewal retention.

• Assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage levels.

• Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure policies are issued correctly.

• Maintain accurate client and transaction records and follow regulatory/company requirements.

• Educate clients on auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella, and related personal-lines coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of personal-lines P&C products such as auto, home, renters, and umbrella.

• Appropriate state insurance licensing, such as a Property & Casualty license.

• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and retention skills.

• Sales awareness and ability to identify coverage opportunities.

• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.

• Comfort with agency/insurance systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.

• Prior insurance, customer-service, or sales experience is highly beneficial.

TARGET CANDIDATE BACKGROUNDS

Prioritize candidates currently or recently working in an independent agency, brokerage, carrier, or P&C insurance environment with hands-on personal-lines policy servicing experience.

RELEVANT TITLE VARIATIONS (search beyond exact title; evaluate actual responsibilities, not title alone)

Personal Lines Account Manager, Personal Lines CSR, Personal Lines Client Service Representative, Personal Lines Account Executive, Insurance Account Manager.

LICENSING

Appropriate state Property & Casualty insurance licensing is expected for this role. Do not assume a candidate holds an active license unless confirmed; flag licensing status for Teresa when unclear rather than assuming.

INTERNAL NOTE: Keep sourcing for this requisition completely separate from the Financial Sales Associate and Commercial Lines Account Manager job orders. Do not place Personal Lines candidates into either of the other two jobs.
