Job Description

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on food processing equipment in a refrigerated manufacturing facility to support high‑production operations and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems from 24V up to 480V (including 3‑phase) , using schematics and diagnostic tools to trace faults and restore equipment safely.
• Break down machinery for cleaning and sanitation , then reassemble and support equipment startup to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems , including pneumatics, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, chains, sprockets, gears, and power transmission components.
• Work 10–12 hour shifts and support 6–7 day workweeks as needed , collaborating closely with maintenance and production teams while following GMP and safety standards .
• Bring 2+ years of industrial or food manufacturing maintenance experience , strong electrical troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and comfort working in cold, regulated environments.

Work Environment

• Work in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant , following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) daily to maintain food safety and quality.
• Facility operates on a 5–6 day workweek , with maintenance supporting extended coverage based on production needs.
• Available shifts include 1st shift (5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with flexibility to start earlier) , 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.) , and 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) .
• Expect 10–12 hour workdays and availability for 6–7 days per week during peak demand , with overtime opportunities on all shifts.
• Work in a production‑focused, safety‑conscious environment that prioritizes cleanliness, equipment reliability, and uptime.
• Company provides basic and specialty tools , with the option to bring personal basic tools if preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
