NICU Registered Nurse - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Columbus, OH

• Experience: NICU Level III/IV experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized care to critically ill neonates, including those with respiratory distress, feeding issues, or requiring surgical or cardiac interventions
• Administer medications using Pyxis system, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
• Manage patients' respiratory support and ventilator adjustments (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Perform and manage procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, and NICU-specific interventions
• Document care accurately in EPIC and communicate effectively using SBAR methodology
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrology, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and social services
• Monitor and manage neonates with diagnoses such as glucose management issues and respiratory distress

What You Need:

• Current Ohio RN license or compact license
• BLS and NRP certifications (required)
• 2+ years of NICU Level III/IV experience preferred
• Proficiency in neonatal respiratory management, IV therapy, and infection control practices
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
