Billing Representative
Virtual Vocations Inc
Performing day-to-day billing activities, the fully remote Billing Representative will manage primary, secondary, and tertiary billing processes, resolve claim edits and rejections, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines. Key responsibilities Perform daily billing activities, including resolving billing edits and rejected claims to ensure accurate and timely claim submission Investigate and address overpayment and underpayment accounts to optimize reimbursement Track and report denial types and root causes, recommending process improvements for billing accuracy Required qualifications High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in revenue cycle medical billing, insurance follow-up, and denial management Experience in a complex, multi-site healthcare system preferred Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
