Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility provided for accommodating patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices, including solution-focused interventions, to develop tailored treatment plans for each client.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective, individualized care.

• Document all clinical interactions accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving the overall quality of care delivered.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to continually improve therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Greater Lakes Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
