Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic setting, focusing on enhancing their psychological resilience and coping mechanisms.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client based on best practices in pain psychology.
\n
• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes designed to empower patients with knowledge about managing pain, enhancing mental health, and adopting healthier lifestyles.
\n
• Deliver brief individual therapy for patients enrolled in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), actively monitoring and evaluating their clinical progress to ensure effective recovery pathways.

• Utilize an electronic medical records (EMR) system to document all client interactions and treatment outcomes accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide a holistic approach to patient care, including referrals to other modalities when appropriate.

• Ensure all clinical practices are grounded in ethical frameworks, keeping patient safety and confidentiality at the forefront of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your typical caseload will primarily consist of individuals who have experienced workplace injuries and are coping with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. You will be instrumental in guiding these clients through their recovery by utilizing a mindset of compassion and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• An active California License to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with proficiency in modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to establish strong rapport with patients and colleagues alike.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professional boundaries while forming therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in the assessment and treatment of chronic pain conditions.

• A background in working with a trauma-informed care approach, or experience in integrated therapeutic settings will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
