About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Land Acquisition to oversee and manage all aspects of land acquisition, due diligence, feasibility, design, and entitlements. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential land acquisition targets, preparing acquisition packages, and managing the land development activities for the division. This role requires a strategic approach to land acquisition, including networking with industry professionals, conducting market analysis, and negotiating purchase and development contracts. The VP will also be involved in long-range planning, and growth objectives, and will lead a team to ensure top performance and organizational value. Applicants for the Vice President of Land Acquisition position at the company should have a minimum of a high school diploma, with a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, accounting, or finance. A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in land development and acquisition is required. The role demands a candidate with a valid driver's license, computer literacy, and knowledge of sales, negotiating principles, and real estate. The VP must be detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and able to communicate effectively. Physical requirements include the ability to operate a motor vehicle and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying equipment.
